The 2011 Aglianico del Vulture is a layered and soft expression of Aglianico with round fruit tones of prune, blackberry, spice and dark chocolate. Vinification: Stainless Steel, the temperature is kept under control and native yeast.

Aging: 60/70% of the wine age in Slavonian oak barrel, the rest in steel and in tonneau for one year.

Bottle aging:3/4 months

Colour: brilliant ruby red

Nose: generous and elegant, with all the charm of the Aglianico grape. mineral, stylish floral hints, fresh and bottled red berry fruit.

Palate: gutsy and determined, supported by sweet tannins. A good acidity lengthens the deep, well-defined finish.

Food: Excellent accompaniment to robust stews, roast or braised beef, barbecued meats, tandoori spiced chicken and well flavoured cheeses.
