Piemonte

Piemonte is surrounded on three sides by the Alps, including Monviso, where the Po rises, and Monte Rosa. It is the second largest of Italy’s 20 regions, after Sicily.

Piemonte region is famous for Nebbiolo based wines like Barolo and Barbaresco. Three main grapes, that makes up the majority of red wines of this region are Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, and Barbera.
