Primitivo (Zinfandel) is is a variety of black-skinned wine grape. It is a bold, fruit-forward red with smoky, exotic spice notes.

Food Pairing:

Primitivo tends to be on the sweeter side, and they form a great pair with curries and spicy barbeque dishes. This wine goes really well with Beetroot curry or wine stewed lentils with smoked cottage cheese.
