The palate is soft and generous, offering layers of juicy dark fruit, silky tannins and a smooth, velvety texture. Well-balanced and approachable, it finishes with excellent freshness and lingering notes of blackberry and spice.

Very elegant red wine, with intense fruity aromas of mature plums and cherry jam. Slightly aromatic with a finish of vanilla and cocoa. Great structure, smooth and full of ripe tannins.

Food Pairing: It perfectly matches with aged cheese, pasta and pizza.

Alcohol: 12,5% vol.

Production area: province of Taranto

Grape yield per hectare: kg 8.000 – 9.000

 

Production method: vinification by maceration with controlled temperature at 24°-28°C. After malolactic fermentation, refinement in American barrique at least for 3 – 6 months
