Ricasoli “Roncicone” Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione 2018/2019/2020

$157.94

2018 Vintage

“Aromas of minerals, crushed stones and cherries. Pine needles, too. Floral. Full-to medium-bodied with a tight, linear palate and super fine tannins. Extremely deep. Fresh. Light saltiness. Give this three or four years to open.” – James Suckling (97/100)

2019 Vintage

“This is my favorite wine among this group of new releases from Barone Ricasoli. The 2019 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Castello di Brolio Roncicone reflects soils that are rich in shells and marine fossils.

The Wine Advocate (98+/100)

2020 Vintage

Riper and richer Roncicone with plums, currants and jam, accompanied by fresh flowers and walnut undertones. Full-bodied, a little chewy and structured, yet crunchy with fine tannins. Lingering finish. Needs at least two or three years to come together. James Suckling 95
