Casa Setaro is located in Trecase, in the province of Naples, in the Vesuvius National Park, since 1995 it has been a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
The vines are trained using the ancient pergola vesuviana method and grow in a lava soil rich in potassium and microelements composed of lapillus and sand. This has allowed the vines to remain ungrafted.
Grapes: 100% Caprettone, guyot, ungrafted vine
Production area: 250 slm Bosco del Monaco, National Park of Vesuvius
Vinification: manual grape selection, destemming and dripping of the must-flower, checked fermentation for 20 days
Aging: in stainless steel for 6 months and then 2 months in bottle
Tasting notes: straw yellow color, fresh and fruity, with aromas of white flowers and yellow pulp citrus-fruits, with balsamic notes. Savory and insinuating, with good freshness and persistence
Alcohol: 13% Vol.
