The Nero di Lupo is unfiltered 100% Nero d’Avola. Fermented in cement and aged for a further 24 months in tank and bottle this has remarkable finesse with rich earthy-leathery fruit flavours balanced by flinty notes.

Area of production: Sicily/ Sicilia, Vittoria (RG), South-Eastern Sicily.

Grape variety: Nero d’Avola 100%.

Agriculture: Organic, Natural, Biodynamic

Altitude: 230 Meters a.s.l.

Soil: red soil, medium consistency; formednof sub-apennine sands of Pliocene origin, of limestone-siliceous nature.

Training system: Guyot.

Planting density: 5.000 vines/hectare.

Average age of vines in production: 15 years.

Harvest period: end of September, first days of October.

Fermentation: spontaneous on the skins with indigenous yeasts.

Aging: concrete tanks and bottle

Alc: 11.5%
