rom the heart of Tuscany and rather than the traditional Chianti style, this is made according to the ancient Tuscan tradition of the “Governo Toscano” where selected and slightly dried grapes are added to already fermented wine. This a second slow fermentation lasting 2-3 weeks resulting in a wine of extra depth and richness. Flavours of cherry, ripe black fruits and spice delivering lovely balance and acidity.

Romitorio IGT is a baby Super Tuscan 50/50 blend of Syrah and Petit Verdot from Maremma.
Blackberry, boysenberry, bacon fat and violet aromas and flavors highlight this supple red. Beautifully integrated, with polished tannins and lively acidity driving the fruit-stained aftertaste. Syrah and Petit Verdot. Best from 2026 through 2038.
