Lamùri, from the Sicilian word for “love” (amore), is a declaration of love for the territory and its most fascinating grape variety. Lamùri is proof of all the elegance and finesse that Nero d’Avola can express. .

A great aristocratic history, is that of the Tasca d’Almeritas, one of the most famous families in Sicilian wine. An extraordinary estate, Regaleali, in the high hills, a guarantee of a classy and elegant wine.

The nose is indeed fruity, with notes of cherry, blackberry, mulberry and plum, but also floral hints of violet and rose, as well as rich spicy notes of vanilla, cocoa, tobacco and herbs. On the palate, velvety tannins and refreshing acidity make for an elegant, expressive, crowd-pleasing wine.

An expression of Nero d’Avola grapes from the high hills. Intense primary aromas, without excess ripeness, differentiate it from the grape variety grown in the coastal and flatland areas of Sicily. A mix of various aged barriques gives soft and elegant tannins without an invasive woodiness. This wine is “L’Amore,” the love that Tasca d’Almerita puts into its work.
