Tradition and Italian excellence celebrated with the line of “Il Casato”. A fascinating story that tells the scents, harmonies and aromas of one of the most suitable regions for viticulture. The journey of the Casato starts from the Valdadige, home of Schenk Italian Wineries, with an elegant Pinot Grigio Valdadige DOC and continues through the hills of Alta Grave Friulana with an aromatic Sauvignon Blanc. A Teroldego Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT and a Pinot Grigio delle Venezie DOC Rosé are also part of the range Il Casato.

Vinification: After the harvest in mid of September, the grapes are destemmed and softly pressed, then undergo a cold maceration.
Fermentation: takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperatures around 12°C – 14°C. After fermentation, the wine rests in the vats for a period of refinement before bottling.
Description: Greenish-yellow, with mineral and aromatic bouquet mixed with hints of fruit and perfume of sage and elderflowers. The taste is rich and elegant with a long lasting after taste.
Food pairing Excellent match for all the vegetable dishes or seafood, such as risotto with mussels and baked fish.
