From the same stable as the Boccantino wines, this was a no brainer for us to bring in when we tried it, a soft, lush fruity red with rich spices and lovely sun-ripened flavours of vanilla, black cherries, plums, prunes, licorice and chocolate. Purrrrfect for winter drinking.

Grape Variety: Primitivo/ Susumaniello

Description: Soft and fruity red wine with sweet spices and a lovely sun-ripened taste of vanilla, black cherries, plums, prunes, licorice and chocolate. Can be drunk now or stored for 4-5 years in the cellar.

Food Pairing: It pairs perfectly with grilled meat dishes, stew and aged cheeses.

THe Italian wines provided by Sapori d’Italia are a delight to discover. I knew very little about Italian wines prior to ordering and have loved everything I have tasted so far!
