The Verdicchio di Matelica Vertis, made in top vintages, did not disappoint in 2019. Verdis is a selection from their oldest vineyard parcel in Braccano, named Ajalunga.

The etymology of the name comes from the Latin “vertere” (“to turn”) and means “the highest point”. Vertis is our greater expression of the belonging grape variety: obtained through grapes from ancient vineyards, which are about twenty years old and South-facing, it is a wine with two years of ageing and has features allowing to uniquely recognize the Verdicchio di Matelica.
