Barolo Borgogno 2014

This opens with earthy—almost funky—aromas of game, truffle, leather, a hint of overripe dark-skinned fruit and a balsamic note. The palate offers black cherry, crushed raspberry, cinnamon and chopped herb alongside ripe tannins. An anise note closes the finish.
This is a big, teeth-tickling steak wine that’s full of flavor & yours for the enjoying. For the vibrant flavor profile, imagine the smoke of a campfire while smelling a leather bag and eating cherries & plums – it’s bursting with bold goodness! Gushing acidity has no problem cleansing your palate with a well-marbled, bone-in ribeye! 14% alcohol will give you that warm, comfort feeling going down. Transparent, burnt-orange color gives away Italy’s unique terroir

The Barolo Classic Borgogno is made by the combination of the grapes coming from five of the most prestigious vineyards of the Barolo area: Cannubi, Cannubi San Lorenzo, Fossati, Liste, San Pietro delle Viole. This is not just a Barolo, it is much more. It fully reflects the elegance and the power of a real Barolo from the Village of Barolo.
