Aromatically precise with plenty of sour red cherry and a hint of dried sage. This is savoury and satisfying Chianti – the soft texture of the palate leads into gritty tannins – the type that work so wonderfully with steak or rich protein. There’s a charry element to the wine as well, that keeps things deep, dark and mysterious to the end.

Aroma: The wine exhibits expressive aromas with dominant shades of ripe cherries, plums, red berries and spices. Seamless, delicious and well crafted, there is excellent length and it is cracking value, drinking well above its price

Food Pairing: The wine goes well with meat dishes, salads, and Italian cuisine.
