Perricone – is a red Italian wine grape variety that is grown in Sicily. In the late 20th century there were around 1000 hectares/2,500 acres of the grape planted throughout the island.

Perricone matches perfectly with legumes, matured cheeses, red meats – either roasted or braised – and all spicy food.
